Briefly summarize and remind

In this assignment, you will explain what your topic is, what kind of questions you have about that topic, and compare/contrast what other sources say about that topic. This is called a “Literature Review” in academic circles, but  please do not get confused with this term, because “literature” here means only other sources, and not poems, novels, play, or any kind of other creative work.
This is what your outline will look like:
Introduction:
Introduce your topic (for instance, the poem “You are in the dark …” by C. Rankine)
What you like about it, what it makes you think about, what kind of questions came to your mind? (for instance, “how do coloured people experience daily life in North America?)
Body
What perspective does my first source offer? (for instance, an academic article that directly comments on Claudia Rankine’s poetry)
What perspective does my second source offer? (for instance, a psychology book about “John Henryism” that defines how daily racist micro-agressions can affect the mental health of a coloured person)
What perspective does my third source offer? (for instance, a newspaper article or a literary journal that writes about Claudia Rankine or about the effects of racism on coloured people in  North America)
Conclusion:
Briefly summarize and remind your reader of what your topic and questions were. Then determine what your own position is, how else this topic could possibly be discussed apart from what those sources say, or take sides with which source you found most useful.
